Colts Neck students got to visit Ohio, Texas, and another New Jersey school this week using distance learning. Fifth graders in the classes of Mrs. Murphy, Mrs. Daly, and Mrs. Gunnell learned about cells from the Cleveland Museum of Natural History with a virtual experience. Fourth graders in Dr. Martino's class learned about the Constitution with an expert connection from actress Janine Turner through Constituting America. While learning about world governments, Mr. Czerwinski's eighth graders collaborated in a partner project with students in Deal School using the Comments Tool in Google Slides and culminated with a video conference to jointly present their research. Three different types of distance learning events provided Colts Neck students with opportunities to break down classroom walls!
